Holiday accommodation in Ses Quarterades Finca, Alaro, Mallorca

Alaro is the ideal holiday location for walkers, nature lovers and those who want to experience 'the real Mallorca'. This quintessential Mallorcan village nestles at the foot of the glorious Tramuntana mountains. Our 'finca' (restored old farm) is tucked away in its own almond orchard, down a country lane, 10 minutes by bicycle (3 provided) or 20 minutes or so on foot from the village. There are delightful views of the famous cliffs of the Orient valley and across a patchwork of open terraces, vineyards and farmland from the property.

The house has been extensively renovated by the owners and is now available for holiday rental. It consists of a large central living room with wood burner, kitchen/diner, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a second shower room and toilet. The star feature of the house is the very large roofed courtyard with a fireplace/barbecue and long wood table with 8 chairs for semi-al fresco dining on balmy evenings, and is a particularly heavenly spot for breakfast with the sun streaming in. Hot water is provided by solar panels, there is also an oil-fired boiler and radiators, which you won't need in the summer anyway.
