Accommodation

The house, which has been extensively renovated by the owners and consists of a large central living room with wood burner, kitchen diner, 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a second shower room and toilet.

Furnishing of the finca is a carefully chosen mixture of contemporary and rustic. Floors are terracotta tiles throughout. The roof has exposed beams. The kitchen is new; worktops have traditional patterned tiles for the sake of authenticity.

The star feature of the house is the very large roofed courtyard with a fireplace/barbecue and long wooden table with 8 chairs for semi-al fresco dining on balmy evenings and is especially heavenly for breakfast with the sun streaming in.

Around the house is a wide paved terrace with a stone table and barbecue. Surrounding the terrace are roses, jasmine, assorted palm trees, various herbs and also citrus and other fruit trees (guests are welcome to help themselves to any fruit in season). Beyond all this is the large almond orchard giving almost total privacy.

Hot water is provided by solar panels, there is also an oil fired boiler and radiators, which you won’t need in summer anyway.
